Un articolo sulla geoetica nel nuovo numero di MicroMega - Almanacco di Filosofia

Si segnala l'uscita del nuovo numero di MicroMega - Almanacco di Filosofia 3/2022. Nella sezione dedicata alla questione ecologica è incluso l'articolo "Crisi ecologica e geoetica" scritto da Silvia Peppoloni e Giuseppe Di Capua.

Nell'articolo i due autori affermano che la crisi ecologica in atto, di cui cambiamenti climatici e perdita della biodiversità sono macroscopiche evidenze scientificamente accertate, chiama tutti a sviluppare la consapevolezza planetaria di essere cittadini terrestri. Si impone dunque l’urgenza di elaborare un’etica che promuova un atteggiamento analitico, critico e scientificamente fondato nei confronti dei problemi riguardanti l’interazione tra essere umano e ambiente naturale.

Nella stessa sezione sull'ecologia sono presenti i contributi di Bruno Latour e Nikolaj Schultz, Stefano Petrucciani, Francis Wolff, Bernd Ladwig, Maurizio Ferraris.

Giuseppe Di Capua (IAPG Treasurer and geologist at National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, Rome, Italy) contributed to the "State of the Planet" event organized by the IUGS - International Union of Geological Sciences within the initiatives to celebrate 60 years from the foundation of the IUGS (IUGS60) and the Earth Day 2022. Giuseppe was speaker and panelist at that event.

He delivered a talk entitled "Ecological crisis and geosciences: the need for geoethics".
